Art has the power to evoke seismic change within us. To be a catalyst of profound proportions that can shape the trajectory of our lives. It has the ability to heal, to hold, to nurture and to inspire. It has the power to bring us back to Self and lead us back to community and universal Oneness.
The Art of Healing is an international and multidisciplinary art concept brought to life by Visionary Healing Arts.org. In collaboration with Chinastraat and Surya Spirits, 27 international artists working around the themes of healing and human consciousness have been carefully selected to showcase their work in Ghent, Belgium. In this exhibition, you can discover over 50 artworks crafted by leading names in a new movement of Visionary and Healing artists worldwide.
Within this group exhibition, Simeon Van der Hoeven will premiere his newest audio-visual project "The Temple of Creation", a 6m high pyramid shaped art installation.
“Art promotes healing and expansion in the creator, but also for those involved in the process and the audience witnessing it during or afterward. In this way, the intention of one person can create a giant ripple effect that brings change to an entire ecosystem of people. Art created from a conscious place, becomes a powerful tool for freedom and expansion.”

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
FESTIVE OPENING EVENT
The opening event of the Art of Healing will happen during the daytime event of Surya Spirits Festival on the 5th of May in Chinastraat, Ghent. From 4pm until 10pm, the exhibition doors will be opened to the public.
Visit the Art of Healing on this day and combine it with an amazing event day filled with workshops, music, and dancefloor by Surya Spirits!
Admission to the gallery space is free. Tickets for Surya Spirits can be purchased independently.

Tuesday 7 May - Friday 10 May // 4pm - 7pm
Saturday 11 May // 2pm - 8pm
Sunday 12 May // 12pm noon - 5pm
